• Bangor Borough Authority Utilities

  Bangor Borough Authority handles sewer and refuse (sanitation) billing and operates the Bangor Wastewater Treatment Plant at 900 Lower South Main Street. The authority office is located in the Borough Administration Office at 197 Pennsylvania Avenue; office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm; phone 610-588-2216, option 2. • Bangor Police Department Police

  The Bangor Borough Police Department is located on State Route 191 in Bangor Borough, Northampton County, and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is staffed by the Chief, 6 full time patrol officers and 4 part-time patrol officers. For emergencies dial 911; for non-emergencies call the Northampton County Control Center at (610) 759-2200. The department offers free outreach programs, scheduled by calling 610-588-4720.

  Bangor Borough has three Recreation Parks and five Pocket Parks. Bangor Memorial Park includes the Bangor Borough Pool, Paul Farnan Football Field, Little League Field, basketball and volleyball courts, and pavilions available for rent. Pennico Park has baseball/softball fields and playground equipment.
