Departments

• Delaware County Controller's Office

  Elected controller's office responsible for auditing county expenditures, financial oversight, and fiscal accountability.
• Delaware County Council Legislative

  Five-member elected legislative body governing Delaware County under home rule charter adopted in 2018, effective January 2020. Replaced the traditional three-member Board of Commissioners.
• Delaware County Department of Human Services

  Provides social services including mental health, substance abuse, intellectual disabilities, children and youth services, adult and family services, and community connections for Delaware County residents.
• Delaware County District Attorney's Office

  Elected district attorney's office responsible for prosecuting criminal cases in Delaware County.
• Delaware County Emergency Services

  Manages the county's Enhanced 911 system handling over a million annual requests, coordinates emergency response for 65 fire departments, 42 police departments, and numerous EMS providers. Includes Emergency Management, Special Operations Group, and Emergency Communications divisions.
• Delaware County Office of Judicial Support

  Serves the function of Clerk of Courts, responsible for processing criminal and civil actions including family-related issues for the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County, 32nd Judicial District.
• Delaware County Sheriff's Office

  Elected sheriff's office responsible for courthouse security, service of legal process, bench warrant enforcement, firearms licensing, and sheriff sales.
• Delaware County Treasurer's Office

  Elected treasurer's office responsible for property tax collection, county licensing, and financial management.
