  Town of Walkersville Public Works, led by the Director of Public Works; issues Work Within Right of Way Permits. The Town provides trash collection on Wednesdays and curbside yard waste pick up on Thursdays (March through December), plus twice-yearly bulk trash collection.

  Town of Walkersville water utility and MS4 stormwater program. The Water Treatment Plant, online since 2020, is an Integrated Membrane System (microfiltration, reverse osmosis, chlorine and UV disinfection, fluoridation). Water bills are sent May 1st and November 1st.
