• Administration Administration

  Under the Mayor's leadership, the Administrative Department oversees the daily operations of the City Office and provides support to residents, the City Council, and City departments. Services include City Building Rental, Park Pavilion Rentals and Special Event Planning.

• Building Department Planning

  Enforces IBC building code requirements within Midway City; handles building permits and inspections, which must be submitted electronically.

• Cemetery

  The Midway City Cemetery, located at 770 West 500 South in Midway, Utah 84049. Handles burial plot sales, transfers and headstone placement requests.

• City Recorder Clerk

  Handles records management, supports the City Council with meetings, notices and minutes, aids the Mayor in budget matters, conducts monthly audits, oversees elections, and oversees the Midway Community Development and Renewal Agency and Municipal Building Authority.

  Supports all departments in recruiting, developing, and managing the municipal workforce, including training, wellness initiatives and employee benefits.

• Parks & Trails Parks & Recreation

  Midway City Parks and Recreation Department offers seven parks, most with rentable picnic pavilions, the two-acre Midway City Dog Park, and miles of trails.

• Planning & Zoning Planning

  Guides the city's physical development, supports boards, commissions and committees, and maintains the Zoning/Development Code and Zoning Maps. Also handles business licensing and land use applications.

• Public Works Public Works

  Crew of 13 employees maintaining buildings, the ice sheet, parks, trails, trees, flowers, cemetery, streets, culinary water and sanitary sewer. On-call after hours/emergency: 435-671-7387.

• Treasurer Finance

  Custodian of all city funds and collector and distributor of all revenues; also acts as customer service provider for the city utility offices. Services include online bill pay and pet licensing.

• Utilities Utilities

  Midway City provides culinary water and sanitation systems. Yearly culinary water testing reports are available; bills can be paid online, by mail or drop off at the city office.
