    Kaplan City Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm and is closed all major holidays. After Hours and Emergency phone number is 337-643-8600. Staff listed include the City Clerk/Treasurer, utility cashiers and billing, accounting/payroll, tax and license clerk, and accounts payable.

    Kaplan Civil Service, led by Civil Service Director Marlene Dronet. The City of Kaplan is a Civil Service Employer; applicants complete an application for employment and a Civil Service test is administered to applicants who qualify.

  • Museum (Le Musee' De Kaplan)

    Le Musee' De Kaplan is dedicated to the preservation of the city's history and Cajun cultural heritage, with exhibits, programs and special art exhibits featuring local artists. Formed in 1996, closed in 2003 and reopened in February 2006. Office hours 9am-1pm Wednesday-Saturday at 405 North Cushing Avenue. Membership is open to everyone.
