• Building Department Planning

  The Building Department will ensure quality development while protecting the life, health, property, safety and welfare of all residents through enforcement of the Town of Grant-Valkaria Codes & Ordinances and the Florida Building Codes. It has permitting jurisdiction for all properties within the Town and is located inside Town Hall at 1449 Valkaria Road; hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, closed Fridays.

• Code Compliance

  The Town of Grant-Valkaria's code compliance division is reactive: it relies on residents or others to report violations, and once a complaint is received the code compliance officer investigates and takes the appropriate action. Under Florida Senate Bill 60 (effective July 1, 2021), complainants must provide their name and address before an investigation may be initiated, except for imminent threats to public health and safety or destruction of habitat or resources.

  Town of Grant-Valkaria Finance department, which publishes the Town's adopted and amended budgets (Fiscal Years 2022-2023 through 2026-2027).

• Town Administration Administration

  Town of Grant-Valkaria administrative staff, including the Town Administrator and Administrative Assistant, at Town Hall, 1449 Valkaria Road. Town Hall hours are 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Thursday; closed Fridays.

• Town Clerk Clerk

  Office of the Town Clerk of Grant-Valkaria. Candidates file qualifying papers with the Town Clerk, and qualifying packets for Town elections are requested from the Town Clerk by email.
