  Felony prosecution; operates a Victim-Witness Assistance Program. Serves the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit.

• Muscogee County Board of Assessors Office Assessment

• Muscogee County Coroner's Office

  The coroner is elected for a four-year term and investigates deaths from unknown or violent causes and deaths unattended by a physician; holds inquests and arranges pauper burials.

  Civil cases up to $15,000, garnishments up to $15,000, dispossessory proceedings, abandoned motor vehicles and mobile homes. Presided over by a judge elected for a four-year term.

  Prosecutes criminal misdemeanor cases bound over from Recorder's and Municipal courts in Muscogee County.

  Work prison operated by the Columbus Consolidated Government; contracted to hold 528 state inmates with 48 beds reserved for county inmates sentenced to short terms.
