• Animal Care and Control

  Works to ensure pets are assured a safe and loving home, stresses the importance of population control and promotes responsible pet ownership.
• City Clerk's Office Legislative

  Implements fair and impartial elections and protects the public's right to information and access to government. The central hub around which local government functions.
• City Manager's Office

  The City Manager serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the City and coordinates the various functions of City government, as directed by the City Council.
• Code Compliance Division

  Upholds and enforces codes and standards established to protect the integrity, public health, safety and welfare of all residents, business owners and visitors.
• Community Development Services

  Oversees Building and Safety, Engineering and Public Services, and Planning divisions for the City of Adelanto.
• Economic Development Department

  Manages economic development initiatives for the City of Adelanto.
• Finance Department Finance

  Handles all accounts receivable, accounts payable, utility billing, General Ledger, Treasury, and payroll for the City of Adelanto, the Adelanto Water Authority, the Adelanto Public Utilities Authority, and the Successor Agency.
• Human Resources Department

  Provides exceptional customer service that adheres to all laws and regulations, improves quality of life, motivates employees, fosters professional development and advances individual career goals.
• Information Technology Department

  Manages the city's information technology infrastructure and enterprise systems.
• Recreation Department

  Creates recreational opportunities for growth and enhancement by developing diverse services and programs that promote citizen involvement and a strong sense of community.
• San Bernardino County Fire Department - Adelanto Fire

  San Bernardino County Fire provides fire protection and emergency services to the City of Adelanto under contract. An all-risk/full-service fire department committed to providing the highest level of service.
• San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department - Adelanto

  Provides collaborative law enforcement solutions to the City of Adelanto under contract with San Bernardino County. Delivers quality professional services to meet the needs of the community.
• Water and Sewer Department

  Through the Adelanto Public Utility Authority (APUA), provides safe, good quality, uninterrupted water at reasonable pressure to meet health and fire protection needs. Operates and maintains the water and sewer utility system.
