Community Boards are local representative bodies that address land use, zoning, municipal services, and quality-of-life concerns. Board members are appointed by the Borough President and City Council members.

  • The Bronx County District Attorney's Office is responsible for the prosecution of criminal offenses committed within Bronx County. The office handles felony and misdemeanor cases, investigates criminal activity, and works with law enforcement agencies throughout the borough.

  • The Bronx County Public Administrator's Office manages the estates of Bronx County residents who die intestate (without a will) or without known heirs. The office safeguards assets, locates potential heirs, and ensures proper distribution of estates.
