Description
The Public Works Department strives to provide safe streets, sidewalks, beaches, lakes, parks, recreation and civic activities along with sanitation services. Divisions: Parks and Grounds, Streets and Drainage, and Sanitation. The facility is at 740 Sandy Lane, just off Glenns Bay Road. Office hours: May through September, Monday-Friday 6 am to 3 pm; October through April, Monday-Friday 7 am to 4 pm. Sanitation charges are billed through Grand Strand Water and Sewer Authority.
